Download the latest version of Windows 10:
Run this in a command prompt window if you do not see the bash run command:
lxrun /install /y
If you want to get started with BASH programming but do not want to install Linux, you will love this video! I will show you how to enable the Windows Subsystem for Linux (Beta) on Windows 10 – Anniversary update. Everything you do within the Linux subsystem will stay in the BASH shell, so you cannot interact directly with Windows programs.
